🌄 Full-Day Excursion: Imi n’Ifri Natural Bridge & Ouzoud Waterfalls

Departure from Marrakech – Birdwatching – Nature Discovery & Barbary Monkeys Encounter

🕗 Departure: 8:00 AM from your accommodation in Marrakech

Your driver and guide will pick you up directly from your hotel or riad. You'll head southeast toward the High Atlas Mountains, in the Demnate region.

🪨 First Stop: Imi n’Ifri Natural Bridge

After about 1 hour and 45 minutes of driving, you’ll reach the stunning Imi n’Ifri natural bridge, a spectacular limestone formation shaped by the river. This geosite is one of Morocco’s most fascinating natural arches.

🌿 Enjoy a short walk to explore this impressive rock formation and observe endemic bird species such as wheatears, blue rock thrushes, and booted eagles.

🦜 Birdwatchers may bring binoculars for a better experience!

🌊 Second Stop: Ouzoud Waterfalls

By late morning, you’ll continue north to reach the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest in Morocco at 110 meters. Arrival around 12:30 PM.

🍽️ Lunch at your own expense in a panoramic restaurant overlooking the waterfalls.

The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the area:

🦧 You’ll likely spot the famous Barbary monkeys roaming freely.

🌴 The walking paths around the falls offer incredible views and a cool, refreshing environment — perfect on hot days.

🚣 You can also take an optional traditional raft ride at the base of the falls.

🚗 Return to Marrakech

Departure from the waterfalls around 5:00 PM. Arrival back at your accommodation in Marrakech around 7:30–8:00 PM.
